The Grand Solmar Timeshare Scam Reduction Squad knows that many people often times believe their taxicab driver could be a scam artist. While this is not always true, there are many cab drivers out there who are attempting to cheat their customers. One of the most prevalent scams that drivers may pull occurs when a client is picked up in the airport to be taken to a hotel.
Once arriving to the hotel, the driver informs the passengers of what the final fare is, and then quickly states that they need to hurry and meet another customer. The driver then takes the money, quickly pulls out the luggage from the car, and then immediately drives away. During the whole rush of the interaction, the travelers fail to see that the driver did not get all of the bags out of the car. This allows the cab driver to get any valuables, which were stored in the luggage.
In order to prevent this from happening, the Grand Solmar Timeshare Scam Prevention Team says that travelers need to take control of the situation. Regardless of what the taxi driver is demanding, the passenger should insist to make sure that they have everything they own before they pay the fare. That should keep the driver around and can insure the passenger that they get all of their luggage. But this is not always easy to do. The taxi driver will use as a lot stress to try to rush or confuse the customer. The only technique to take care of this can be to ignore the driver and take control of your belongings.
