Amusement Park Ticket Scams
Grand Solmar Timeshare knows that there are many great amusement parks around the world. People of all ages love to travel to these parks. They can entertain kids and adults. The one problem that many people have with amusement parks is the cost of a ticket to enter the park. This can often cost more than anything else during a vacation. Because of the high price of admission to amusement parks, many people look for ways to get discount tickets. If they are not careful they could end up the victim of a scam and could lose more money than they thought they were saving.
Some of the ways that scam artists sell the discount tickets include:
- Private sales over the internet – They will sell tickets that they did not use or multi-day tickets that were not completely used. Most amusement parks do not allow people to transfer ownership of tickets and the buyer could end up with a worthless ticket.
- Counterfeit tickets – These will be sold in stores and on the internet. The tickets that are delivered will be worthless and could get the person trying to use them into trouble.
- Unauthorized discount tickets – vendors will try to sell these at locations close to the amusement park. The tickets are not legitimate and can cause trouble for anyone that is trying to use them.
